IT'S OUR ANNIVERSARY

One year ago, I started this blog page on my personal website.  Over the last 12 months, this hobby has helped fuel my love for creative writing.  BUT IT HAS ALSO BEEN SO MUCH MORE.

This blog has been a consistent way for me to hold myself accountable for the goals I set for myself.  Over the last year, I've utilized writing on this page as a major outlet in my life. It makes me proud to look back on these posts and remember the thoughts, feelings, and passions I had when cultivating each and every one.

I have crafted this space to reflect all of my passions. My posts largely showcase travels entries from my semester abroad, my ideas, opinions, feelings, and ever-changing interests. Over the summer, I went as far as creating a digital zine of my favorite entries.

As a nod to my front porch, where a large chunk of my posts have been written, I’ve recently given my page its official name and slogan “Stoopside Scribbles; From Porch to Page” 

Today I am happily celebrating this anniversary with myself.
