Yesterday I visited Oxford with my best friends Eva and Caroline. As a lover of dark academia novels like Babel and the Atlas Six, I've always dreamed of visiting Oxford. Not only did it live up to expectations, but it well exceeded them! Oxford was so easy to get to- one tube ride, and one bus was all it took. A fast two hour commute. On the bus I memorized a Johnny Depp monologue that my professor showed in class the other day.

Eva is studying at Oxford this summer, so it was incredible to see all the places she'll be frequenting! We were able to get access to all of the colleges since she is an incoming student. It was awesome. I am so excited for her.

Oxford was in bloom! It was so springtimey, The flowers flourished in each corner of the grounds. The walls practically radiated with magic. The energy was something I had never experienced before.

I enjoyed seeing several of the harry potter filming sites and felt as if I was right there at Hogwarts. We visited The Bear tavern and played a poetry game where we rotated adding to the story every 2 minutes. We did the same thing with a drawing, and ended up creating several interesting, clustered images. I felt so creative. We took so many pictures and had a big lunch at Oxfords oldest pub called the Turf Tavern. I love my friends, and I will remember this day forever and ever.
