Hi Team, It's been a while.

Despite what you may be thinking, no I have not stuck true to my personal promise of only returning to this blog page when I reach the halfway point of my novel. I have not yet even finished 10,000 words. This process is going to be a lot longer than I intended. I had no idea that writing a fantasy book required SO MUCH world building. I've been drawing maps and painting pictures and really trying to understand the world that I'm writing in. So since I have still been dedicating time and effort to this project, I decided for myself that I earned my blog back a little bit...lol.

So heyyyy Missed you!

Happy September, Happy back to school season! Pumpkin Spice is in the air and these are my fall 2024 takes.

  1. The song Orange Blossoms by Goldford is the next Stick Seasons (kind of) and I think it's the perfect fall jam song

  2. Morning runs are perfect right now! I think getting in the habit of waking up early is good all year round but specifically now the mornings in NYC are nice and cool and the Botans are a short walk from campus if you go to Fordham so take advantage of the nature paths

  3. This fall is less pumpkin and more apple crisp? Or is that just me (brat vibes)

  4. Chipmunks are so cute this fall

  5. DIY scarecrows?

  6. I haven't owned a flannel in like 5 years but I want so many of them right now

  7. The song Charmed by Etella

  8. Social media suckkkssss (Instagram deleted my account and my phone number is now unattached somehow so they won't give it back #hacker)

  9. Dystopian movies are in (psssh as if they ever left ik ik)

  10. Can someone throw a Harry Potter Dobby party

Anywho! You'll be hearing from me again soon. Welcome back

What I learned climbing a mountain

After doing something hard, we are often asked "what did you learn?" Or- what did you relearn? What did it remind you? 10,000 feet high...
